How to Measure Blinds
Type 1: inside Mount – NO Sill or Trim.
Measure the width and height inside the opening at three different points. Record the smallest width and height on the order form.
Type 2: Inside Mount – Sill, No Trim
Measure the width inside the opening at three points. Then, measure the height from the top of the sill to the inside top of the opening at three points. Record the smallest width and height on the order form.
Type 3: Outside Mount – Sill and Trim
Measure the width from the outer edge of the window trim to the outer edge of the window trim. Then, measure the height from the top of the sill to the outer edge of the top trim at three points. Record the largest width and height on the order form
Type 4: Outside Mount – Trim, no Sill
Measure the width from the outer edge of the window trim to the outer edge of the window trim. Then, measure the height from the bottom edge of the trim to the outer edge of the top trim at three points. Record the largest width and height on the order form.
